Norbert Mongeon's Eagle Project

Welcome

My name is Norbert Mongeon.  I’m a boy scout from Troop 1139 Slatersville and have been on the trail to Eagle since a young cub scout. It is now time for me to make the final strides to becoming a role model for others to follow. In order to do this, I must complete a significant project that improves my community and reflects scouting values.

My project is in reverence to my school, Mount St. Charles Academy. I am very thankful for what Mount offers and my wish is to return the favor. Over the spring I led scouts from my troop in planting shrubs and flowers to beautify a campus monument dedicated to the Brothers of the Sacred Heart and Mount St. Charles alumni who have valiantly served our country. The plants truly made a difference in the monument’s current appearance and will eventually block the sight of the house behind.

For my final phase, I am modifying the monument to make it more appealing. I am installing two granite wings. At the end of each wing there will be a brick column to match the design of the school. These granite pieces will be inscribed with words of gratitude and bear the Brother’s emblem. I am in the process of sandblasting the words into the stones and will be installing them soon.

I need financial assistance in the amount of $4,000 to complete this project.  I am hoping that you will assist me by making a tax deductable donation in the amount of $10.00 or more.  Checks should be made out to Norbert H. Mongeon III.  Your support of this important project will be greatly appreciated.
